Brooke stayed the night with her nana so she was texting this morning to keep me in the loop for church 
It’s a small church I know the family she’s talking about, Brooke gets very excited when she sees other biracial people. She’s black and white and experienced a predominantly black experience of life. One of the young men the “swarm” of biracial people gave a beautiful testimony where he said “I just want live right and have God in my heart”
And Brooke was like “mom he’s the one he love God, he’s biracial and ginger”
“Im finna walk up and say “my name is Brooke I’m the youth pastor…. how old are you” imma go ask after church
“Lord please let him 12!”

Yeah that was the best part of the whole experience I was like “omg a boy Brooke” she found out he’s in the 8th grade and has a 4.0 runs track he’s a good kid he’s coming to bible class Wednesday so it’s adorable
