Thursday Thought

“Luckily, your mind will believe everything you tell it.”

My family will tell you that I strongly believe that you can do absolutely anything you put your mind to. I believe that with all my heart when I started blogging I woke up and said “I want to meet Perez Hilton, that’s my goal I just want to meet Perez” September 2nd I will going to Las Vegas to see my blogging idol.

I did not always have this mindset.

I used to be a victim of my own circumstances. I would verbally say “I’m on a fixed income I can’t do this or go there” my nana told me “you need to stop saying that or you will always be on fixed income, you speak things in to existence, if you put that out into the world then you will never grow”

😒 I used to get so mad with her I would literally yell and argue “I AM ON ONE! I’M NOT MAKING NO MONEY! MY JOB ISN’T HANDING OUT HOURS THIS IS IT!” And she would just say “ok.” It took me a few years, tears and circumstances to fully understand what she was trying to convey. You speak things into your life both positive and negative. I spoke a negative financial situation into my life for years. As I’ve been on this journey blogging I’ve learned a lot of about manifestation the law of attraction etc I’ve read so many books the past 5 months, watch so many videos, followed so many amazing mentors online and they all say the same thing that your thoughts dictate your path. What you think, you do. It’s that simple. It’s a beautiful thing when you begin that apply that principle and positivity to everyday aspects of your life. I wake up every morning I say Thank you for being alive and say out loud “today’s going to be the best day of my life” sometimes I’m being fake🤷🏾‍♀️ I don’t believe the words at 0430 but when I start moving around and repeating “Today’s going to be the best day of my life” I start to believe it. Then I start to think about the content I’m going to plan and then I get excited and before I know it I’m smiling and dancing and have to remember “‘my family doesn’t wake up till 7😅 I need to calm down”

The best thing to happen to me these last few months is

I changed my mindset. I stopped being a passenger on the potty train. I deleted negative people and propaganda, I verbally stated my goals to the universe and just realized how powerful our mindset truly is. There are days when I’m in a rotten mood and then I think “why is this happening” and I realize that it’s because I didn’t pray or it’s because I woke and said “ugh it’s gonna be hot today is awful” I spoke my bad days into life. Not anymore! I want people to realize the power of their words and thoughts. The more you understand that the more you prosper. Whatever you want to do it can be done. None of my dream was real until 5 months ago. I still can’t believe that I get to wake up and create content for a living. I run a blog 😭❤️❤️That’s been my dream since I was just a awkward poet with a Xanga page and 2k MySpace friends I love what I do and I couldn’t have done it without my family support, friends, but I couldn’t have done it if I did not make up my mind to do so. You have a choice. It’s your life you can literally do what you want.. so go do it!

  1. I’m on the same journey. I was the person that liked to be behind the scenes, and thought “Why would anyone want to listen to what I have to say?” Well, that changed about a year ago. Began reading more about the mind and mindset, and am proud of all that I have accomplished. I have been happier and also landed an amazing job as well within the past month!
